We have finally begun Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice in my AP Literature class. I’m absolutely in love with the book so far (page 145) . This book is basically an older form of Gossip girl, but without the trashiness that is so easily found in today’s society. I’ve just read the part where Mr. Darcy proposed to Elizabeth (sorry for the spoiler guys), and I was laughing so hard about her response to this. She so totally slammed him. I was sort of hoping they would end up getting married though, because they would make quite an interesting couple. I’m so excited for the movie, but also prepared for the usual let down compared to the book.
