I think the reason why I knit is because it’s relaxing, and I love wearing clothes I know that I made myself. Anyone can knit (exception: I don’t recommend it if your hands have arthritis). The only thing you need is patience, needles, and yarn. It takes patience because in today’s society, we are so used to just going to the store and BUYING our clothes. You have to slowly watch the piece being made. Stitch by stitch.

Satan loves to distract us: Entertainment, cleaning,  self-projects, and lists of things. Yet when we look back all we realize is all of those times we didn’t pray or didn’t read the bible. But we can’t exactly remember what we were doing.

Today, write down everything that distracts you from God. Underline the things that you could possibly use to thrive in God, and cross out the ones that absolutely could not prosper you into God’s plans.

Chores- work hard, everything we do, do for the lord

Music-Air 1 or any other Christian radio station to boost your faith, or  win some friends over…they just might start asking questions

Friends- Surround yourself with positive ones, but help out the bad ones and show them an example of God’s Amazing Grace.

It sounds like a tricky question but it really isn’t. The main reason why people would subscribe to a blog is because they like what they see and they don’t want to miss out on possible cool information in the future. So you need to convince your readers that you will have valuable information in the future.

Easier said than done. But I’m sure a big step to that is to build credibility. Don’t saturate your posts with opinion, instead reveal the information in your light of view and let the reader decide what they want to think themselves; they don’t need anyone doing it for them, and they certainly won’t be forgiving. It takes a long time to gain loyal readers, but a matter of seconds to lose them for good. Scary, huh?

If you’re someone that wants to be a journalist in the nearby following years, than you and I are alike. Hopefully if you have done research on the brutal career you haven’t been scared away. It sounds really tough, but a lot of journalists claim that it is very rewarding, not in terms of money though. But hopefully you are not willing to sacrifice your life for an extra bulky paycheck, it’s not worth it.

The Industry has made it quite obvious that journalism is tough, so today I am going to focus on the positive inspirational aspects of the career.

In journalism, you can recreate stories using words, graphics, photos, and creative designs. There is a lot of freedom in writing, which means you have tons of choices. “I realized sometime in college that going into journalism meant I’d essentially be paid to learn new things, and then to share those learnings with others.
